The hat is a mix of details of outdoor hats with reference to the severe weather hats used by the U. S. Navy during the 1940's. Mesh sides for ventilation. Removable chinstrap made of original braided cord. Leather stopper for size adjustment. Size adjuster on back side for size adjustment. The outer material, taffeta made from recycled nylon, is colored in the warp and black in the weft, creating shades of color from the direction of view and giving the garment a three-dimensional appearance. Water-repellent treatment using a non-fluorine solvent. OOAL initial logo patch.
