Launching denim by Harmony Paris, meet Donovan
The Parisian label Harmony known for its creative surrounding is introducing a nostalgic retrospective on the Jean. The five-pocket jean pays tribute to one of the underdogs in Rock, the in Glasgow born singer, songwriter and guitarist, Donovan Phillips Leitch.
Donovan’s story started with his aspirations of becoming a betnik, which lead him to drop out of art school to follow his devotion for music. Sober he slowly emerged out of the smoky bars and made a name out of himself, conquering the industry with his eclectic and distinctive style of blending, folk, jazz, psychedelia and pop.
As sober as this truly sincere musician was, is the Parisian slim-fit adaption. Skinny legged with nickel buttons on the fly and contrasting top stitches featured along the seams set the tone of voice. The Dirty Vintage wash, resemble the vitality one can imagine being on the road. Clean lines and simple patterns remain a minimalist design and classic all-over look.
