Store Supervisor

Availability: 24-32 hours per week
Location: City centre of Amsterdam

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and lead the sales team in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Drive sales by creating a positive and knowledgeable shopping experience
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively
  • Provide excellent post-purchase customer service, handling complaints, returns, and other customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Mentor junior sales assistants to uphold high standards of customer service
  • Keep the store in optimal operational condition by assisting with essential store functions, i.e. inventory control, store security, store maintenance, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all areas are presentable for customers.
  • Oversee the processing of new stock deliveries, and returns, and manage the interplay between the warehouse and store during your shift.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed according to brand standards
  • Handle web orders, including fulfillment and responding to customer requests.
  • Support in-store events and promotional campaigns.
  • Share feedback on store performance and customer experience with head office
  • Most importantly, give customers a warm and knowledgeable experience :)

You Are

  • Independent, pro-active, and highly organised
  • Strongly aligned with apparel, lifestyle and the brands we sell
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Based in the Netherlands and able to work here

Requirements

  • 4+ years retail experience
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Available for flexible scheduling across weekdays and weekends
