Senscommon: The ultimate raincoat
Our quest for a fully functional yet aesthetically pleasing raincoat ends right here.
A bold vision of making life easier is what projects on crowdfunding platforms usually have in common. It comes as little surprise that Amsterdam-based brand Senscommon started off on Kickstarter three years ago, with the vision to create the truly perfect raincoat for cyclists.
Not only Amsterdammers, but anyone who bikes daily in the rainy hemispheres will know that this is a crucial but challenging endeavour since it still has been hard to find an overcoat that meets all the needs.
Long story short, the All-Commute Overcoat by Senscommon was launched eventually and we are pretty convinced that the mission to create an ideal raincoat is accomplished. The minimalist matte black design is a sight for sore eyes that are tired of stiff and yellow models - one can fairly easily guess that designer Laura Silinska has a couture background. Its adjustability makes it suiting for all sexes and body types. The All-Commute withstands rain, wind, dirt, being entirely seam-taped and Teflon coated. But what we actually like most are the snaps for full leg protection, cause what's the worth of a raincoat if it leaves your legs soaked?
This lightweight Overcoat is made in Europe and comes in a A5-sized pouch. Shop it here.
