Plate 185 in Sand
Description
The Hasami Porcelain Plate 185 in Sand measures 185 mm in diameter and 21 mm in height. Formed from a blend of Amakusa stone and porcelain clay, the body is dense with low porosity and a matte, textured surface in a warm natural tone. The Sand finish is characteristically variable in colour and texture between individual pieces, a feature of the traditional divided-labour production in Hasami village. Each plate is hand-stamped and shares the 185 mm diameter with other pieces in the collection, so all same-size items stack and function interchangeably.
