Michael in Lis Cafe
Description
Michael began as a work shoe for farmers, lumberjacks and labourers, and the Lis Cafe version keeps that workmanlike build in a deep coffee-brown smooth leather. Paraboot has made the model since 1945 and has since produced more than 500 variations of it; this one has the rounded, generous last, thick beading and scalloped welt of the original, with Norwegian stitching, a leather lining and a natural rubber sole. Demand from Italy for the Michael helped save the company in the early 1980s.
